CALL FOR PAPERS
The goal of IFIP International Conference on Network and Parallel Computing (NPC 2007) is to establish an international forum for researchers and practitioners to present their excellent ideas and experiences in all system fields of network and parallel computing. NPC 2007 will be held in Dalian, China. You can find more information from the conference homepage (http://www.dlmu.edu.cn/npc2007/).
PAPER Submission Guidelines
Papers are solicited reporting original results and experience. Papers must be clearly presented in English, must not exceed 15 pages, including tables and figures, with PDF, PostScript, or MS Word format, and the work must not be published or submitted for publication elsewhere. Detailed submission instructions will be posted on the conference web site. Papers will be selected based on their originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation. Submission of a paper should be regarded as a commitment that, should the paper be accepted, at least one of the authors will register and attend the conference to present the work.
It is planned that the conference proceedings of NPC 2007 will be published in English by LNCS, and extended versions of some selected papers are to be published in a special issue of international journals (International Journal of Parallel, Emergent and Distributed Systems (IJPEDS), International Journal of High Performance Computing and Networking (IJHPCN), International Journal of Embedded Systems (IJES), The Journal of Supercomputing, which is indexed by SCI, International Journal of Computer Systems Science and Engineering, which is indexed by SCI and EI). BEST Paper Award
The NPC 2007 program committee will select one winner for the Best Paper Award and two winners for the Excellent Paper Award (all regular papers are eligible), one winner for the Best Student Paper Award and two winners for the Excellent Student Paper Award (only the regular papers whose first author is a full-time student are eligible). The winner of each award will be presented at the conference with an award certificate, a cheque of US $200 and an invitation to submit an extended version of the award-winning paper for the consideration of publishing in an international journal.
